The Studio is where some of the most transformative moments happen in a musician’s journey. Lessons are an enriching component to the study and mastery of the craft. Whether a student just beginning, or checking an item off the bucket list, lessons can meet the student where they’re at and provide a sense of growth and satisfaction.
Danielle teaches private lessons for Voice, Violin, Viola and Piano. From the truly beginner student to the student preparing for collegiate auditions, she welcomes students of all levels and abilities. She serves students in the greater Fox Valley Area – Elgin, St. Charles, Campton Hills, South Elgin, Gilberts, Hampshire, Huntley, Algonquin, Elburn and Geneva.
Lessons are available in 30 or 60 minute sessions, in-person at her home in far West Elgin.
Voice Students: Must be at least 10 years of age to enroll. (Students under the age of 10 may be considered if they have previous vocal training, choral or theatrical experience. This will be determined on a case-by case basis).
Violin, Viola and Piano Students: Must be at least 8 years of age to enroll.
A La Carte
In addition to lessons, Danielle offers sessions in the following areas, in one-on-one or small group settings:
- Audition Prep – Collegiate, Community Theatre, Orchestral, Solo & Ensemble Contest, etc.
- Music Theory – Fundamentals of reading music, Review of basic theory, Refresher courses, Theory for specific instruments, etc.
- Ear Training & Aural Skills – Sightsinging, Interval recognition, Rhythmic Dictation, etc.
- Keyboarding Skills for Singers – Keyboarding principles geared specifically toward the needs of the singing musician.
- Classroom Demonstration – sessions for preschool, elementary and upper-level school classrooms, demonstrating string instruments (violin/viola, guitar), piano and voice for students of all ages.
